Family therapy is a place for everyone in the family to come together to explore the patterns and interactions in your relationships that are causing stress and making you feel miles apart from the people you love the most.

Working with a therapist helps your family identify communication patterns that may be causing disconnection or conflict, allows you to develop healthier ways of expressing needs, setting boundaries, and supporting one another.

As your family progresses through therapy, you'll likely notice a shift in how you navigate challenges together, with greater understanding and compassion replacing old cycles of frustration. This collaborative healing journey not only addresses current challenges but builds resilience that can sustain your family through future transitions, to feel seen, heard and known and grow stronger together as a family.

You’ve been carrying a lot: school, work, family expectations, relationship stress, or maybe a major transition that’s shaken your sense of stability.

Anxiety may be building, conflicts feel harder to navigate, or you may simply feel disconnected from yourself. Whatever you’re moving through, you don’t have to do it alone.

I bring a warm, grounded, and collaborative approach to therapy. As a Licensed Social Worker with extensive experience in medical and neurological health at Atlantic Health System’s Outpatient Pediatric NeuroScience Center, I deeply understand how our physical, emotional, and relational worlds impact one another.

Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface and build insight, skills, and confidence to help you feel more steady and connected.

Clients often notice less internal noise, more clarity, and an improved ability to manage relationships and life transitions.

I work with adults, adolescents (14+), and couples navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness adjustment, relationship challenges, perinatal mental health, and major life changes.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can get a sense of what working together feels like.

Do you understand your struggles intellectually but still feel stuck in the same patterns? Your body’s been trying to tell you something, unexplained aches and pains, feeling disconnected from yourself, or even your intense emotional reactions that seem out of your control.

This isn’t weakness or failure, it’s your nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do to keep you safe.

Your body and emotions inform you; what’s good for you, what’s unhealthy for you and where you need to set boundaries. I specialize in Somatic and AEDP therapy so we can work directly with your body’s wisdom, not just your thoughts.

My goal is to help you learn to listen to your intuitions, your instincts and most importantly your emotions. In therapy with me, you and I will work together side by side. You’ll start to understand what your body is trying to tell you. You’ll develop a greater capacity to feel and experience your emotions without getting overwhelmed.

Your experience in therapy will not only give you new coping strategies, but will help to create a transformation of lasting change.

Your body remembers what your mind forgets, but it also knows how to heal when given the right support. I’ll be right here with you to uncover what is making you feel stuck and move towards helping you heal and gain back control of your life and relationships.

One of the ways I find peace and sanity is through cooking and baking. My motto is the more butter and more sugar the better 🍪 During covid, I even taught myself how to make French Macaroons!

I know what it’s like to perform for an audience every single day (even when that audience is just your own inner critic telling you you’re not doing enough, being enough, or holding it together well enough).

Before I became a therapist, I performed on Broadway. What that life taught me is that the most powerful thing a person can do is show up fully as themselves, even when it’s terrifying. I bring that same belief into the therapy room.

Here’s what I see with many of my clients: you understand WHY you react the way you do. You’ve read the books, you’ve done the work, and you can explain your patterns perfectly. But your body still braces. Your chest tightens the moment something feels even a little off.

That’s not a thinking problem, that’s your nervous system stuck in a story it hasn’t finished processing yet.

That’s exactly what I’m trained to help with. I specialize in EMDR, a body-based approach that helps your nervous system process the experiences that got stuck so they stop running your reactions from the background. You don’t have to relive everything in detail for it to work.

My style: Warm, grounded, and genuinely curious about what’s underneath the surface. I won’t rush you toward insight or hand you a coping skills worksheet and call it a day. I’ll slow things down with you, help you understand what’s been shaping your patterns, and use approaches like EMDR, CBT, and Somatic Therapy to help you actually move through it (not just talk about it endlessly).

I work with: Individuals, couples, families, and teens (14+)

Specializes in: Performance anxiety, parenting issues, relationship struggles, divorce/separation, perinatal and postnatal, self esteem, LGBTQ

Starting therapy can feel like a big leap. The free 20-minute consultation is a chance to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide if it feels right before you commit to anything.
